Two Swords

Hi everyone, here is my take on Sora Kim's concept Two Sword !
This character isn't my first try at a realistic style, but it is by far my biggest project, the one I put the most time, effort and love in. Every step of the workflow, I tried to push myself, to make things cleaner, more detailed, more refined than I usually do. This started as a school project, where the goal was to make a realist bust in 2 months under the guidance of Sean Ferreira. But I decided that a bust wasn't enough to honor this concept, especially since it's called "Two Swords" it would be a shame to not have any sword to show ! So after I graduated I decided to spend the time left before the Rookies' deadline to complete the character and refine the original assignment.
On this project, part of the exercice was to not be afraid of the polycount and focus on keeping the silhouet of everty object. For the lower part, done after the exercice had ended, I decided to go lower and I ended up with a polycount of 178k tris including hair cards, when my point of reference and maximum limit was Kratos from God of War at 250k tris.
